Well here's pinky on his First Communion Sunday. It was actually a very great day. Luke asked me twice during mass if it was time to go up yet. There were only four kids receiving their First Communion, so that relieved us on time. And all of them were from our parish in Douglas, so we got to have first communion at our little country church. The church was a little crowded, but it was festive and great. Donuts after, the altar society had decorated the basement. The kids got sparkling grape juice, and were so grown up. The boys dapper in their ties and shirts, the girls lovely in their communion dresses. The party for Luke and Liam went great. Audrey's house was packed, because of course there was rain today, but we made it through. The food was great, but poor Audrey looked exhausted. Boy, I was sure glad I didn't host it at my house. HEE HEE. Luke got a missel, a cool rosary, a St. Luke medal, a pewter statue of St. Luke, a little cross to set on a shelf, and lots of prayer cards. It was such a great day.
