GO EAGLES!

Here's my boys, aren't they TOUGH! Football has started, these pics were taken after their scrimmage with the Murray, NE team. All the boys say they stomped them, but no OFFICIAL score was taken. Its funny to watch third and fourth graders play tackle football. The coaches were all standing behind their teams ON the field. Directing the boys and all around yelling at this one and that one.

I like that football leaves the parents out. We are not allowed to interfere at practice and definately not at the games. These are the things that teach our boys about taking direction and not whining, or complaining. That is simply unacceptable behavior. They run laps for not following directions, screwing up a play, not listening, goofing off, etc.

Football does take up a lot of our time after school during the week, and at least a full three quarters of a weekend day. Its a commitment, but its worth the time. They won their first game last weekend. Screaming Eagles 19-Gretna White 18. Great job boys!
