Destruction...continued

I have to take yet a few more frames of what our main living areas look like now. This was about a week and a half ago. Progress is slow. Jarrod has of course been working a ton and not getting much done in the evenings during the week. I know April will show steady progress, and exciting results. The walls in the picture were before Jarrod took off all the lathe boards and all the insulation, loose insulation, behind them. Oh my gosh! What a horrendous mess that made. The final picture is of my darling husband right before his evening shower after a day of major demolition. This was even a clean version of his dirty self. A couple of hours before this he had washed his face to clear the debris. I couldn't help but laugh at him. He says he doesn't mind getting dirty but lordy day, the LEVEL of dirt is unbelievable. Right now all the bare walls are exposed and the studs, no more insulation on wall or ceiling. Its VERY windy today and believe me we can feel it in the house. Tonight the wall separating the living and dining rooms is coming down. This coming weekend the brick chimney, that's the last phase of demolition. We were debating whether the chimney should come down, quite frankly we agreed against it because we were both so SICK of the mess. But after a week away from mess we both agreed the chimney is in disintigration mode, the bricks are turning to dust, so its coming out. Now we won't have that mess to make in the future. Further blogs soon.
