BUTCHED!

Well it finally happened. Max was finally sick of the long hair and wanted a haircut. First the hair grew from sheer laziness on my part. Since I am his personal hairstylist. Then it grew into, "I want to grow my hair out like Luke's." So Jarrod and I humored him, thinking he'd get sick of it before too long. It was a painful experience. His hair-growing process is as follows. The hair thickens and is almost 'fro like but not a curly fro. Then it grew longer. It actually looked handsome and clean cut about two weeks ago, and lasted clean-cut for one week. That's it. But finally shagville took over. He is sick of waking up in the morning and brushing his hair. His scalp was always hurting. As we with long hair all know. He felt great and looks GREAT! Yeah Max. This "letting go" thing and letting the kids experiment with their own style is a struggle, moreso for Jarrod. My poor husband thinks long hair is for well hippies and women. I think long hair has its place on men or in this case boys. Luke would look darling with longer hair, and may get there some day. But no longer than the jaw. Have any of you seen Celine Dion's son? She was on Oprah back in December and they showed a pic of her SON and holy @#$^ his hair was like as long as mine. On a five year old. Strange!

Oh Luke's hair is not very long anymore. He got sick of it about six weeks ago and had me trim it up. And what does he get, his girlfriend broke up with him. Ahhh... elementary school girls. Who needs 'em?
