HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Belated of course. Our day was jam packed. The kids had no school, it was a free day and the kids played and played. Above is lovely OJ. She was originally Snow White, her new found favorite princess movie. Unfortunately the elastic arm bands started cutting off circulation and that outfit, her hairdo, and makeup were gone in one fell swoop. We started over from scratch. Thank goodness she has dressup outfits. She was then Cinderella, another favorite princess.
Another child, another costume change. As you can plainly see Wyatt was unhappy about being a pumpkin. Wouldn't allow the stem hood to be put up, he hated the bulk of it. So second try no pumpkin, wearing only the black undershirt I put a nose and whiskers on him and Voila! kitty cat. He kept the black outfit on for two seconds, then cried until I took it off. So he ended up just wearing a onesie and whiskers. Needless to say he did not go trick-or-treating.
Luke, Max and Sam were a motorcycle rider, dude with green hair, and a cowboy. I will post Sam's cowboy pic, too cute. Liam and Carley came also, and Liam was decked out in Camo, helmet, and pistols, Carley was a vampire complete with blood dripping from her fangs. Luke had his friend Jacob overnight and they had a ball. Jacob lives on an acreage, so houses are few and far between. Max was invited to spend the night at his friend Preston's house. Everyone had a ball and raked in the candy. Big time.
Panama is where its at. Annually we have a tractor pulling a hayrack trailer. That is transportation from stop to stop. Of course we mainly walked, and walked, and walked. There was a basketball station, make up to three shots get up to three pieces of candy. This station was hosted by Homer and Marge Simpson, Hilarious! Our resident pastor and his wife. I was laughing hard at those two.
Then there was a hot dog/hot cocoa station. The town offers free hot dogs and hot cocoa w/ marshmallows! Its awesome. Not that any of the kids ever eat but the parents like it. We started trick or treating at 6:15 and no one ate dinner. They were all saving their appetites for candy. Then there was a smores station, with an open fire and sticks to roast your own marshmallows. So fun!
We all had a lot of fun. My legs were sure feeling it the next day. Til next year!

way fun! Can't wait to live there one day...and I am not even hinting at anytime soon, just saying that's where we want to live when the housing market allows.
I have noticed how much OJ looks like you (Kari) now. She didn't look like you as much when she was little, but the recent photos she is WAY YOU! But maybe that's just me. Anyhoo, she looks beau-ti-ful as both snow white and the cinderella!
What cute trick or treaters! Love, Gma
looks like Wyatt and Callie had a shared opinion of the whole Halloween experience! :)
Um not that you are moving back anytime soon, but FYI the house next door to me is going on the market very soon! It is that green ranch (newly painted to a nice tan) new roof too! It may be too close for you, but man wouldn't it be fun:) Molly
