AAARRGH!

Jarrod wakes me a five o'clock this morning. "You gotta come see this!" It was storming earlier this morning, so I figured we had a pool in our yard like normally happens when it rains really hard. Well...yes there was a pool, but not just in the area around our big tree the whole yard was flooded, and there was a river racing from the back side of our garage to the culvert. Water was rushing. It was something we haven't witnessed. And we've witnessed a lot of storms. All the storm drains were full to the gills. We got 2 1/2" of rain in about half an hour. Yikes. Jarrod went to check the basement. He said there was a little water. Well an hour later the whole basement was wet. It totally stinks! So that has been my day so far. Cleaning up that mess. Just had to post to vent my frustrations. Otherwise I think it should be a nice day.
