I'm really disappointed in you snow! I know for all the people who have to leave their homes in order to go to work, you are a pain. But I don't have to leave my house. I can stay inside all warm and cozy and watch you fall with gaining anticipation as the piles mount. I can serve up hot cocoa with marshmallows. I can wait by the back door and direct my kids where to put their sopping wet snow clothes, only to dry them, dress them, and send them directly back out into you.
I really love you. So please don't forget about us here in Southeast Nebraska. I promise we won't take you for granted. We will enjoy you until you turn brown and gray. We will enjoy you every moment you hang around.
